My Vet was out of the office and my dog needed immediate care. My internet search for the best hospitals located the Hopewell animal center. I called the office and was seen by Dr. Harrison. He was compassionate, honest, and caring. My pet had to be referred to the Emergency Vet. Dr. Harrison stabilized her so that she would make the trip to Richmond. He went the extra mile and had never saw me or my pet.
Dr Harrison is amazing ..I brought 2 Dane pups in very ill.they had parvo..he went above and beyond any vet I've known,calling different pest controls,and other places ,that my pups may have gotten in contact w..I let him know what I had to spend and he picked the most important things and stayed within my limit,no guilty tactics ECT,he taught me to do fluids so I could do it at home and him and his staff stayed an extra 2 hours making sure I understood everything to try and save my 8 puppies...they did not rush me because it was closing time..he went way beyond calling me 2 times a day for the first 3 days!!! Even though it was memorial day wkend...happy to say all 8 of my babies made it..thanks to his caring about my babies ...if they continue to be this amazing I won't go anywhere else
THIS STAFF IS AWESOME! They are so kind and understanding- which for new pet people is really important. My parents board our dog here when we take long trips and Ester is fantastic! She texts my parents of our dog and little updates. I'm new to having a cat and the vet I saw with her was amazingly kind when I pulled out a list of questions, I didnt feel rushed and she didnt make me feel silly for asking simple questions.
