Ordered the pasta dinner. What I got was a TV dinner!! It sucks!! Please don't waste your money here!!!
Pizza was not good. We ordered to go a large thin crust pizza with mushroom, pepperoni and jalapenos at lunch time. The crust was very hard and the taste was off. It was as if there was a previously cooked pepperoni pizza that had been sitting and someone threw mushrooms and jalapenos on it and then reheated it. Since it was lunch time and the all you can eat buffet was going on, maybe someone tried to cut corners and use a pizza meant for the buffet... We will definitely not be going back. We will stick to Papa John's.
The second time I realized there's a Carry out pick up window which I thought it was cool as not many places have this. Omg! I waited there for 35 minutes because there was a car in front of me waiting for their order. All of this to get one free pizza!
I do not advise people to order from this (Hopewell) location.
I ordered my food at 11:35pm (Saturday night, the location does not close until 1am) via mobile. An half-hour later I received a missed call asking if I had cancelled my order and that my order has been cancelled. I immediately called the store to inquire why my order had been canceled. The lady on the phone did not provide me with an excuse of why they decided not to deliver my food and asked if I wanted to pick it up. I could not since I am immobile but I wanted a reason of why I was not going to be able to eat tonight. She transfers me to the supervisor but states beforehand "please do not yell at them. They don't like it when I send people to them and they get yelled at". I had not given her any reason to say that other than the shock of my tone. So ROBERT gets on the phone and I ask him why my order has been cancelled. Again, no reason nor any apology at all. I am on the phone with him no more that 45 seconds at this point when he tells me that my order has been cancelled and that he does not have any time to play with me. This is when I get an attitude because I have never, ever been treated like this by a restaurant. I can kinda understand if I were a regular, rude customer but I have never ordered at this location until tonight.
This place is filty! First of all I only go there for the book it program my daughter school has. Once a months she gets a free pizza from them if she reads. While waiting for the pizza I seen the "buffet" area and the food looked old and cold. The carpet on the floor looked disgusting. Just been inside made me feel dirty and I don't have a germ phobia.
Whoever Robert is, take it from me who has been a manager of a national pizza chain as well as been in the customer service field for over 10 years: You have absolutely no customer skills nor conflict resolution skills. If you immediately get defensive when a customer just simply wants a reason why he is not going to be able to eat tonight, then you need to change careers. I work in a hotel in this town and I will advise every single one of my guests to not eat at this location from this point on.
My roommate and I ordered a half and half pizza online, one half containing pineapple and one half that didn't because I really can't stand pineapple. When we received the pizza there was pineapple on 7 out of 8 pieces to where it clearly wasn't even attempted to be half and half. I used to work at a pizza place and this seemed lazy to me. I also cook for myself at home a lot due to restaurants frequently messing up my order and if I'm going to shell out $10 for a pizza, I want something that really makes me happy that I don't want to go through the effort of making at home. So when my roommate asked me if I wanted her to go back in and talk to them about it, I said yes. She went in, politely told them about the issue, and the employee was polite and understanding about the issue. She not only made us a new pizza, but let my roommate have the pineapple pizza for free when she could've just kept the pizza for the employees to share. This was excellent customer service and I am impressed. So just a reminder that people make mistakes but usually if you talk to them nicely about the mistake without being aggressive, they're so much more willing to work with you so that you're satisfied with you experience. Kind of grungy. Have seen much better pizza Huts.
